The Roll Down is an important transitional exercise in the Pilates repertoire as we use it to bring us from standing to the floor.  Sometimes we can be in too much of a hurry when performing this exercise and we miss out on important spinal articulation and technique,  which can cause hinging at the hips, putting more stress and load into our lower back.  This tutorial encourages correct sequential segmental movement of the spine to keep you safe and promote better mobility and movement of the vertebrae.
