In this half hour tutorial, I guide you through familiar movements such as Cat stretch, Swimming from kneeling, The roll up, Single leg stretch and Shoulder bridge.

In each exercise we investigate creating space by using the energy in our body. Lengthening out through the crown of the head, fully lengthening through the arms and/or legs, and through the fingertips and toes. Feeling the sensation of spontaneously drawing more strongly in to our centre with out force, tension or rigidity.

This is a gorgeous way of working with Pilates, that improves our self awareness, increases our mind body connection even more deeply and adds yet another level of understanding to how we are using our bodies and the importance of our Pilates practice.

You can use this tutorial as mini workout and also refer back to it at anytime to cement your understanding of the techniques.
