Walking Meditation Audio Podcast

Walking meditation
You may have managed to get away from your desk or work or from the busyness of your day to get out for a walk but perhaps your mind is still overactive and you may still find it really hard to switch off.  Spending a few minutes consciously directing your attention to each part of your body will help you to still your mind.  This walking meditation uses some Pilates techniques, encourages you to focus on your breath as you walk and brings your awareness to how your body feels.  Lowering stress, reducing anxiety, lowering blood pressure, increasing your focus & concentration, slowing you down, and helping you get to know your body better.  Walking meditation can make exercise more enjoyable, is great for your mental health, and helps you to connect not only with nature but with yourself, expanding everyday mindfulness and helping you stay in the present moment.
